On July 7th, PriceLabs announced three new ways to use its revenue management platform: a mobile app, a connector for AI tools like Claude, and an upgraded API. Until now, the company offered its pricing service only through its website. All three run on the same engine and data.
For hosts, the shift is about where the work happens. The rate recommendations and market data that used to live on a desktop dashboard can now be checked from a phone or pulled into an AI chat. It is PriceLabs' widest change since October, when it added listing and minimum-stay tools on top of dynamic pricing.
Mobile App
The app is PriceLabs' first, running on iOS and Android in seven languages worldwide. Hosts and property managers can check upcoming prices, monitor listing performance, and adjust rates from anywhere, rather than logging into a browser.
AI Connector (MCP)
The Model Context Protocol connector, live after a two-month beta, links a PriceLabs account to AI assistants such as Claude. It works both ways. Users can ask questions in plain language, like "Why did occupancy drop at my beach condo this month?", and make changes, like "Set July 4th to $350 for this listing." The unlock here is that an AI assistant can actually take action and move live prices, not just read data.
Upgraded Customer API
Already used by more than 4,000 customers, the Customer API adds 10-plus new read and write endpoints and clearer documentation. It gives property management companies, many already connected through one of PriceLabs' 161 PMS integrations, structured data to build dashboards, automated pricing workflows, and custom apps.
Big Picture
The AI connector is the piece worth watching. Pricing and revenue tools are some of the early movers in the short-term rental industry to add MCP support: Wheelhouse released its own connector earlier in 2026, and Lodgify announced one for its platform in May. With their data now open to AI assistants, more STR software will likely follow.
