Hospitable has launched a new Cleaner Marketplace and rolled out a major Operations update, aiming to automate one of the toughest challenges in short-term rentals: reliable cleaning and turnovers.
The Cleaner Marketplace connects U.S. and Canadian hosts with over 150,000 vetted cleaners directly inside the Hospitable platform. This lets hosts skip third-party apps and simply build a checklist, receive a transparent quote, and let Hospitable handle assignment, dispatch, tracking, and payment. Every step from en-route to completion is monitored in real time, and hosts receive door photos, before-and-after images, and cleaner-uploaded notes as proof of work.
Security gets an upgrade too: for each task, time-bound smart lock codes are generated automatically and tied to the task, helping protect property access during turnovers.
The new Operations update pushes automation even further. Cleaner task lists now adjust dynamically based on reservation context and property settings. For example, if a guest brings pets or uses the sofa bed, those items are automatically added to the cleaning scope. Guest-reported issues (like spills or damage) flow into the next turnover, ensuring nothing gets missed. The system manages recurring, semi-regular, and one-off tasks, centralizing all property care workflows in one place.
Cleaners and hosts can now communicate directly within Hospitable, with timestamped notes and photos creating a permanent record. This two-way visibility not only improves accountability but also creates a paper trail to resolve disputes or damage claims.
