HomeToGo’s New AI Filter Lets Guests Search for the Exact Amenities They Want

Here's what hosts need to know to use this to their advantage

Vacation rental platform HomeToGo just launched a powerful new feature called AI Filter, currently in beta for U.S. and German users.

Unlike old-school search filters (think: checkboxes for “wifi” or “hot tub”), this tool lets travelers describe what they want in natural language – everything from “hot tub with ocean view” to “game room and king bed” or “home office with fast wifi.” Then the AI scans listing descriptions and images to return highly specific matches.

For vacation rental hosts and property managers, this isn’t just a guest experience upgrade – it’s a visibility boost. Listings with standout amenities are now more likely to surface for high-intent travelers who know exactly what they’re after.

Early user data shows demand for features like saunas, golf carts, fenced yards, and double vanities, which gives us valuable insights into what guests want. Operators can use this data to explicitly name those amenities in their titles or descriptions.

This move is part of HomeToGo’s broader push to become a fully AI-powered marketplace. It joins the AI Filter with other tools like AI Sunny (an AI travel assistant), AI Mode (a trip planner), and Smart AI Reviews, which condense guest feedback into bite-sized summaries.

HomeToGo is rolling out AI features faster than most – and may be offering an early look at how all OTAs will evolve.

Bottom line

AI filters can be a powerful tool to help hosts attract more guests. Treat this like free algorithm-friendly SEO: the more clearly you describe your amenities, the more likely AI will show your property to the right guest. AI is rewriting the rules of search and discovery, and the hosts who adapt fastest will win more bookings.
