Hospitable reported a 45% increase in usage of its AI-Suggested Replies feature in the first half of 2025, compared to the previous six months.
The data underscores a growing confidence in automation across STR operations. According to Hospitable, nearly 60% of replies drafted by the AI were sent without any human edits (up from 49% at the start of the year). The double-digit jump in six months points to a sharp rise in host trust and confidence in automation.
The AI-Suggested Replies feature drafts responses to booking inquiries, guest questions, and time-sensitive issues, giving hosts the ability to respond instantly. And personalization through the “Knowledge Hub,” which lets hosts upload property details, policies, and tone-of-voice preferences jumped 58% during the same period.
AI-assisted review responses also remain widely adopted, with roughly 880,000 auto-drafted in the first half of 2025 alone.
“These shifts show AI is moving beyond being just a time-saver,” Hospitable wrote in its report. “Hosts are increasingly trusting automation to deliver timely, accurate, and brand-consistent experiences.”
The adoption trend extends beyond messaging. Hospitable’s Personal AI Suite also covers review management, inbox triage, upselling, dynamic pricing, and operational insights, reflecting a broader integration of AI across the STR guest journey.
Pierre-Camille Hamana, CEO and founder of Hospitable, said the tools are reshaping the role of technology in hospitality. “AI is moving from being a nice-to-have to becoming a trusted partner in the day-to-day reality of running a short-term rental business,” Hamana said. “It isn’t competing with the human side of hospitality, it’s protecting it. It works quietly in the background, handling the routine conversations, repetitive tasks, and operational decisions that once took up hours of a host’s day. That frees them to focus on what really drives success: building stronger guest relationships, improving their properties, and finding new opportunities to grow.”
As STR operators face growing pressure to scale as efficiently as possible, AI is becoming more and more of a competitive advantage.
