Breezeway has announced a strategic growth investment from Resurgens Technology Partners. Financial terms were not disclosed.
The deal brings in Resurgens, a growth equity firm focused on B2B software, while existing investors Catalyst Investors and Schooner Capital remain on the cap table. Breezeway is the second platform investment from Resurgens' third fund, which closed in 2024 with $800 million.
What Breezeway Plans to Do
The company said it will use the capital to deepen its AI capabilities and expand internationally. Breezeway was founded in 2017, and their software handles property care coordination, maintenance workflows, safety inspections, guest communications, and smart lock management for STR operators and hospitality teams.
That operational focus gives Breezeway years of structured data on how properties are actually managed day to day. As PMS platforms increasingly build their own AI-powered automations, Breezeway's pitch is that its data set, built specifically around operations rather than booking and distribution, is difficult to replicate. CEO Jeremiah Gall discussed this positioning in a recent interview on Good Morning Hospitality, pointing to the company's operational data as a core differentiator.
Capital Continues to Flow Into STR Technology
The broader industry context supports the investment thesis. Short-term rental properties globally number more than 12 million today and are projected to reach 17 million by 2029.
Breezeway's investment lands during a period of sustained capital flow into STR technology. Investment in the sector surpassed $500 million over the past year, with capital concentrating around platforms that solve real operational problems at scale.
For hosts and property managers, the practical question with any AI tool is whether it translates into time savings and fewer errors in property care. Breezeway already has traction with major operators, including a recent integration with Casago, one of the largest property management companies in North America. If the new capital delivers on the AI and global expansion plans, operators using Breezeway could see those improvements show up in their workflows over the coming year.
