Boom Raises $12.7 Million to Scale Its AI-Native Property Management System

The funding will accelerate development of agentic AI tools that automate 80% of guest communications for STR managers worldwide.

Boom, the Miami-based company behind the world’s first AI-powered property management system, has raised $12.7 million in a funding round led by Avenue Growth Partners. The round also drew participation from several industry veterans, including Ian Carter, former CEO of Hilton International.

The new capital will support Boom’s expansion into additional international markets, accelerate hiring across engineering, data science, and customer success, and strengthen its go-to-market efforts. The company plans to advance development of its AI technology, moving towards agentic AI that can operate with greater autonomy and adaptability in hospitality operations.

Boom’s platform places AI at the core of hospitality management, automating guest communications, maintenance, task management, and financial workflows. The company reports that its AI now handles 80% of guest messages and inquiries, reducing manual workload while improving response times. Operators also gain real-time performance visibility through integrated reporting and business intelligence, replacing the need for multiple disconnected systems.

Currently, Boom powers hospitality businesses in 20 countries across five continents, a reflection of rising global demand for AI-native solutions. With a Net Promoter Score of 86, the company cites customer satisfaction and operational efficiency as key advantages driving adoption.

The funding comes as the hospitality sector shifts rapidly toward automation and intelligence. A recent McKinsey and Skift report found that industry leaders are increasingly exploring agentic AI systems to incorporate tools that can act on decisions rather than simply support them. This evolution marks a new phase for hospitality technology, where AI takes on a more proactive operational role.

Boom CEO Shahar Goldboim said the raise will help scale the company’s mission to “take the heavy lifting out of property management so operators can deliver better guest experiences and build stronger businesses.” Avenue Growth Partners co-founder Brian Goldsmith described Boom’s AI-first approach as “a genuinely new category” in hospitality, citing its proven scalability and global demand.
