Hostaway just launched AI Auto Reply, a built-in messaging tool that instantly generates personalized, context-rich responses to guest questions. The feature is designed to streamline guest communications and cut operational workload for vacation rental property managers.
Unlike generic AI chat tools, AI Auto Reply pulls directly from Hostaway’s platform data, so it can reference reservation info, listing details, message history, and host-specific instructions. This allows the AI to create accurate, relevant replies in real time. No external plugins or setup are required, and property managers can choose between manual review or full automation, with built-in safeguards to ensure compliance and quality.
This is Hostaway’s second major AI release following the AI Review Analyzer, and early access demand for AI Auto Reply filled within days. Adoption of Hostaway’s AI solutions has surged dramatically in 2025, with AI feature usage tripling and partner applications to its marketplace increasing by 120% in the past six months alone.
The Hostaway team has begun weekly onboarding of new customers throughout the third quarter, and general availability is expected by late October 2025.
