I’m not even using Network Solutions as a mail platform. I use Entourage (by Microsoft). I’m only using NS as a server to GET my mail from, since I have my own domain name and they are hosting it. The problem I have is intermittent retrieval of mail. That is, sometimes it works to get my mail, sometimes it doesn’t. I found a workaround, though. I forward all of my mail to my ISP mailbox.

Someone should be FIRED at NS, make room for someone who can get the job done right...

The issue is a direct violation of the IETF RFC 2821 sec 6.1.
I?m not surprised that Network Solutions does not conform to standards.
