I would give 1&1 a 1 out of 10 for their service. I use one of their top teir managed plans and pay almost $200.00 a month for a dedicated server. Their prices are good but their service is horrible. they ignore most emails I send and promice to call me back and never do. I have had (2) security issues that have occured from them patching the server. One issue is currently in limbo after 2 days and they still are trying to figure out what it is. In summary for these low prices you also get very low quality tech support which at times does not know common terms such as thinking SFTP and FTP are the same exact thing.
